I have the 1st Gen Gauntlet in .25. Bought it, I think, within a month or 2 of its release. It was my first PCP. Then came the Avenger. Now I do really like my Gen 1. But I’ll tell you the accuracy, light weight, and side lever on the Avenger just ruined it. When the 1st generation of the Gauntlet 2 came out I got excited until I saw the bolt again, and the stock. And honestly, I know it weighed more, but I really liked the other stock WAAAAY more than this one, at least as far as looks goes, can’t talk to its fit to me. I have VERY PATIENTLY waited for Air Venturi to come out with a .30…..doesn’t look like that’s gonna happen. I really like the looks of the JTS, sweet wood stock, and the McCavity Arms in .30, but they just don’t have the speed and the thump of the Gauntlet, and now it has the side lever. So unless McCavity comes out with the more powerful one I’ve heard about, AND it’s as accurate as the current version, or I’ll be buying this, and dropping it into a Buck-Rail stock. I’m sorry to sound like I’m settling, I guess I kind of am, but everything about this gun screams performance and accuracy, especially for the price, I guess it’s more of an aesthetics thing for me I guess. Great review, although it did take a stretch to get to the lead slinging.

I got the buck rail ar grip adapter with a magpul moe k and it’s awesome! I have a folding stock on it too. Then a 1-4 lpvo and the Donny go Yokozuna. I wish I could post pictures cuz it looks soooo good!

There is a ton of aftermarket adapters for adding a stock to get a little mini carbine.

A $1,200 pistol with only 32 FPE? That's the world's LEAST powerful big bore AG! And that's with the extended/longer "barrel" via the use of a moderator 🙄 What is Evanix smoking? To me it's nothing more than a super-expensive squirrel gun (maybe raccoon with proper shot placement at close range, IF you can get close), but you would need a rifle stock kit to shoot it accurately. Good luck with the sales on this one. I just don't see any use for this gun for me, even at half the price.

I've got this one and absolutely love it. If you want really, really loud, try: 16 grain full open on 350 bar : will do 1220 fps (MACH 1.1). Funniest part: Did it with the silencer, and it was really really quiet while turning it up, and all of a sudden it became positively deafening. First thought I broke something, but turned out it was the pellet going supersonic. This, is an awsome pistol, much more impressive then its bigger brother (got the .25 K1 as well), given the form factor and the mentioned air efficiency.

I love this thing, and I pretty much always run it on lowest power. Normally get over 60 shots before I bother refilling. I've got a buck rail adapter, little hawke red dot, and sig folding stock still with the beautiful wood grip. Probably my favorite air gun. You're very lucky you didn't jam it though, I've jammed mine, broke an o-ring depressurizing, and it takes quite a while to tear down to fix. Beautifully put together, wonderful video support online for fixing it, but kinda like fixing a clock inside with all the little bits.

Brother love your channel and the information you put out glad you're doing this pistol this is one of the ones I'm looking at in that class. Only thing is it is hard to stay with you for too long your add is killing me. You start out on good information about the gun and then all the sudden you go somewhere else and you lose my attention. I'd rather find to say that is directing to the point. Understand you're doing live. But before you put up video, shoot your test then go back and edit the information on the gun specs and everything and then post video. Just saying I did the same thing when I first would do modifications in car parts. I got same information Anne criticisms. My videos would be 20 25 minutes end up losing a lot of people halfway through. Edit it same exact information instead of being 20-25 minutes went down to 11 or 12. My likes and subscribe went up.. but quality and information is great, keep it up.

Which version of the Ruger 10/22 are you using, the 450 fps version Pyramid sells, or the 700 fps version that you can get elsewhere for around $160?

I call BS on the easy to cock lever. It is used in the last 1/2 inch to cock the trigger. Get a bandaid wrap for your Rt. fingers after 20 rounds of cocking. No S-#$%.

UPDATE: I did find out that this Ruger 10/22 does come in two versions. The 450 fps for under $100 and the 700 fps version, which runs around $160. So without knowing which version is being used in the chrono tests you see in any of these UA-cam videos, it's impossible to know which rifle to purchase. I'm tossed between the Crosman 1077 and the Ruger 10/22, although I'm leaning towards the Ruger. The only thing is I'm seeing a conflict with the Ruger, whereas Pyramid Air is stating it is only a 450 fps max and Umarex states 700fps max. Amazon has the Ruger and you have a choice of 450 or 700 at a higher price. Others out there state there is only one version, but there are those who have ordered from Pyramid and the tag on the trigger guard states 450 fps. I know the fps varies with pellets, etc., but what is the actual specification on the Ruger, 450 or 700 and if 700, why is it advertised in some places as 450? I've tried contacting Umarex, but they have not gotten back to me and I'd like to make a purchase, but very frustrated, as I've never seen such a conflict with any other rifle spec. Please advise and thank you.

I picked up the .25 standard a few weeks ago and I’ve tried just about every pellet I could find and I’m working my way through the slugs in the weights that make sense and the pellets pretty much all work well with mine but a couple of the slugs are just not even usable even up close. I was most disappointed by the FX hybrid slugs I guess because I wanted to believe in them but just out of my barrel they don’t make the cut I always start lightest grain to heaviest and the best performer close to the middle weight gets the zero and I can usually still hit with everything I shoot but I don’t have a chronograph and I’m new to this PCP thing I haven’t adjusted anything on the gun at all because I want to see exactly what everything did out of the box with any ammo I might use

Hi, I have seen several good reviews on this platform, and I would likely buy one if they offered a different stock, even if it was more money, I very much dislike that green stock, not even crazy about a black synthetic type either, I would be a lot more premium looking with a nice wood or laminate stock of some sort, options are always good. Nice review, keep up the great work.

Make a suggestion mate....use a bag underneath the stock (butt)....from the uk lol,at fifty yards mate,even with a fac air rifle,every little bit of movement will throw it off....plus dont know if you've got a bit of ribbon for windage....not teaching you to suck eggs of course👍🏻
